The price will vary based on the amount of steel, thickness and degree of difficulty in production. The steel quality is always the same.

There are several steel compositions based on the properties you want in the final product. Our products are made of 18/10 steel, which is an unrivaled and exclusive steel quality. 18/10 contains the same amount of chromium as 18/0 steel, but also has 10% nickel. 10% nickel makes a big difference in appearance, the ability to polish surfaces which makes the cutlery easy to wash and reduces the risk of food residues sticking and turning into bacteria. In addition, the nickel increases the duration of the product. 18/10 steel is an iron alloy that has good resistance to corrosion (rust) and other chemical attacks. It gives a glossy appearance and has properties that make the steel extremely resistant and durable.

All cutlery from Hardanger Bestikk can be washed in the dishwasher, with the exception of Hardanger crackers where we recommend hand washing.

Send an e-mail to support@hardanger-bestikk.no to find out if the product is still in stock. If a product has been discontinued and is empty at our main warehouse in Kinsarvik, it will no longer be possible to obtain it. A product may have been discontinued/issued from a store, but still be found in our main warehouse.

Hardanger Bestikk can be exchanged in the store or online store where it was purchased.

It is recommended to rinse the cutlery well before putting the cutlery in the dishwasher. The cutlery should be completely dry before it is placed in the cutlery drawer to avoid stains on the cutlery. Water quality and washing-up liquid can have different effects on the cutlery. Hardanger Bestikk recommends Sun and Zalo dishwashing tablets. If there are hints of rust stains on the cutlery, gentle use of Jif scouring cream is recommended. An approved complaint relates to a manufacturing defect. We do not accept claims for damage caused by accident, normal wear and tear, products that have been modified after purchase, loss, theft, misuse or commercial use.
